A feature horror/fantasy/comedy in the vein of Sideways meets Charmed.
LOGLINE
Three buddies, on a Halloween road trip through California wine country, end up in a eerie motel run by a coven of seductive, witches; but when one of the witches starts unleashing demons in the valley, they guys must help defeat the evil sorceress and restore order to the community.
SYNOPSIS
Struggling to keep his audience, PATRICK, a fading blogger, is sent to do a Halloween story on the Pagan Ball in Napa Valley. He calls his former college roommates, LANCE, a photographer, and NICK, a professional paintball warrior, to accompany him on a road trip.
Caught in a storm, they check into an eerie motel only to find it is run by a coven of seductive witches. Intrigued, the guys attend a midnight, (naked) ritual in the woods. At the ritual Nick is bewitched by KIKIMORA, an evil sorceress.
The next day, Patrick and Lance are invited on a wine tour with with MÄRET, the leader of the coven, and ELIXIR, the transvestite, potions queen. Meanwhile Nick is recruited by Kiki in her plan to attack at the Pagan Ball in order to take over the valley.
After casts a binding spell on Märet, the evil witch and her crew go to the ball and handout bottles of wine laced with a submitting potion. At midnight, they unleash demons on the crowd.
When Elixir sees what’s happening, she helps free Nick and unbinds Märet. Together they create a powerful potion to dispel the demons and employ Nick’s paintball skills in order to banish the demons. Märet casts a forgetting spell over the crowd and in an epic bell-tower battle, Elixir defeats Kiki; “Who’s the queen of the ball now, Bitch!”
Patrick’s account of the demon takeover of the Pagan Ball (which nobody seems to remember) goes viral, putting his blog back atop the company e-zine. He is the toast of the annual party, but he is knows it is time to move on.
As he leaves his office for the last time, Märet shows up. She tells him she has left the coven, it is now in goods hands with Elixir as the new goddess and Lance as the business manager. Then she opens a transportal and asks Patrick to join her. He takes her hand and they step through together.
